GENERAL NOTE
You'll probably notice I don't have links to biographies/profiles. That's because I hate writing 'em, they become outdated super fast, and honestly I'm just downright lazy. You can learn about my characters via their headcanon tags (the tag is always /tagged/hc: name), through my IC and OOC posts, or just through asking, but honestly I genuinely don't expect you or require you to do so. Especially with my OCs - I'm aware there's jack shit to go off of, and until I decide to start infodumping randomly on the dash folks won't know anything about them nor do I expect anyone to prioritise my OCs over the canon characters they're more familiar with. I'm never going to judge you for that; I know I personally struggle with retaining information, and don't always have the energy to get to know a new character. If you're here for my canons, that's all good with me!
SHIPPING NOTE
All shipping is based on chemistry between individual portrayals; I don't auto-ship, even for canon characters, though past relationships will generally be considered to have been canon unless otherwise stated (such as Morpheus' various lovers over the centuries, Arthur's relationship with Mary, Thomas and Miranda's marriage, etc).
CHARACTERISATION NOTE
Please bear in mind that I write all of my characters with nuance and grey areas in terms of their morality and behaviour; if you're here to interpret Dutch as a two-dimensional villain, for example, or Flint as an innocent victim who did no wrong, I'm probably not the right writer for you. That said, IC=/=OOC and I don't mind at all if your character has those views based on the information available to them, it's just probably going to bug me if I feel like it extends OOC ^^;
IWTV DISCLAIMERfor iw.tv muses, we're tv adaptation only. i don't care about the books, i'm not interested in guessing at what will happen in the show based on them. i'm going off of what's shown on-screen in the tv adaptation, cherrypicking things i like from the books, mostly ignoring word of god, and completely ignoring fanon.i also can't interact with other Armand muses; it's not personal, his backstory and identity issues are just particularly triggering for me when i'm not the one writing them.CORVO DISCLAIMERlook corvo being objectum and having weird robot/tech based xenogenders is like, partly played for laughs sometimes but it is also a legitimate part of his sexuality and it's not the reason he's a Weird Guy TM. he's weird because he's extremely awkward, emotionally stunted, trolls people online, is kind of a bad role model, and makes people uncomfortable. him wanting to fuck inanimate objects and having a weird xenogender isn't indicative of anything dangerous or unhealthy about him. your characters can of course be weirded out if they find out about his relationships to the sentient objects around him, but on an OOC level i ask that you be mindful that being objectum is something ordinary people can and do experience!

Primary Muses

These are the 'default' muses of the blog, for whom interactions are always welcomed.

THE SANDMANMorpheus/Dream of the Endless; he/xe/it/they; genderless + unlabelled; heavily headcanon based, with primary inspiration taken from the audio drama and comic books. the netflix show's plot and timeline will be utilized (especially with other show-based characters), but my Dream's personality and character arc is generally taken from the comics and audio drama.Dream of the Endless (the second); he/they/it; genderless + unlabelled; comics and headcanon based. He doesn't use the name 'Daniel' for himself any more than he uses 'Morpheus', as he is neither - but both he and Morpheus are Dream. The Griefbringers; various pronouns depending on which one you're referring to. Original characters based on the Sandman, the basic gist is that "the Griefbringer" was a dream Morpheus made long ago and when Morpheus was imprisoned, they left the Dreaming to live in the Waking and essentially shattered into pieces. The primary members of the collective/hivemind are Johnny (he/him or plural they/them, a dream), Graves (he/him or it/its, a nightmare), Mykonos (they/them or she/her, a dream), and Proximity City (it/its or xe/xyr, a nightmare cityscape and/or robot depending on the day) but there are a bunch of others, I just don't write them as often.FINAL FANTASY 14Poyoyo Poyo; they/them (though they'll accept she/her from people who don't know any better); nonbinary + pansexual; a Lalafell Bard who also has a gun. They're here to kick ass and [checks notes] love their friends.
Hythlodaeus; he/they; ??? + pansexual; shrug emoji. iykyk
G'raha Tia; he/him; i can't decide if he's a cis man or a trans man, but he sure is bisexual; please i love one (1) catboy
Elja Foixewesfv; he/him (privately refers to himself as it/its); genderless/neutral (though everyone else will likely just know him as a cis man) + pansexual; viera wol who starts off as a healer and eventually gets a gun because fuck this actually.
Zero; she/it; sexuality is "????" atm; iykyk. im gonna be real though i barely remember anything about her story right now so uhhh good luck.
X-MENErik Lehnsherr; he/him; agender + biromantic asexual; excruciatingly canon-divergent, Sendhil Ramamurthy is his faceclaim, I've been writing this fucker for 8 years whoops. his timeline is all kinds of patchworked together from comics, movies, and my own headcanons.
Charles Xavier; he/him; trans man + grey-aromantic bisexual; canon-divergent as hell but don't ask me to explain how. i've been writing him too long god help me.
MISCCid; he/it, misc original character that can slot into most universes. trans man + bisexual (largely sex-repulsed, though not asexual). a fucked up ghoul-like/vampire-adjacent thing that eats people (dead or alive). turned sometime in the 1890s-1920s, though even he seems unsure of the timeframe. wild-natured, not particularly easy to befriend unless you have mutual interests and/or can keep him from eating you, but his loyalty once secured is yours forever - even to his own detriment. canonically in love with Mykonos of the Griefbringers.
THE BATTER (OFF game); he/him or it/its; you know the guy.

Secondary Muses

These are muses I generally don't have much interest in actively plotting for (usually because folks don't know who they are lol), but may toss around from time to time as a treat when inspiration hits.

PULLEYVERSERaphael; he/him; cis man + bisexual with a heavy preference for men (possibly struggling with like. the mlm equivalent of comphet tbh). slowly turning into a statue, what about it.
Merrick Tremayne; he/him; cis man + bisexual. please be nice to him or he'll--well he's used to it but he shouldn't be. botanist.
Harry Tremayne; he/him; cis man + pansexual. useless flighty botanist bastard who loves insects and rodents and other small crawly things.
BALDUR'S GATE 3Masque; he/him, doesn't mind they/them but doesn't actively use it for himself, tav/original character. agender man + gray-aroace. mostly here to write him in his vampire spawn verse where astarion turns him (specifically my astarion), so canon-typical TWs there, but i'll write him whenever. also character death TW because the ending of that verse is just him murdering ascended!astarion, as god intended. also i will happily write him in regular non-bad-ending verse i just have brainrot.
Astarion Ancunin; he/him, cis man + sexuality is complicated but he really only has any genuine attraction to men. muse for him is pretty finicky/inconsistent. i will happily write ascended!Astarion, but probably not in a romantic relationship with your Tav unless we're friends.
Shadowheart; she/her, woman (idk if she's cis or trans yet bear with me) + bisexual. tbh i am kind of mostly here to write her as part of Masque's story but i'm in love with her so whatever.
INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIREArmand; he/they/it, but your character is only going to know he uses he/him so whatever. gender is for people with a sense of self + so is a labelled sexuality. i cannot give enough trigger warnings for this guy actually. tread carefully.Lestat de Lioncourt; he/him, presents as a cis man (i'm very quietly hc'ing him as transfem/nb do NOT @ me) + bisexual. i am not here for takes that excuse all of lestat's behaviour and make him out to be some kind of saint, just as a note.ARCANEViktor; he/him; trans man + bisexual grey-aromantic; canon-divergent in that I don't really care about the show itself these days I just love Him TM. also canon-divergent in that instead of a terminal illness, he's seeking treatment for his chronic conditions instead.RED DEAD REDEMPTIONAtticus; he/him; cis man + bisexual aromantic; a RDR2 OC, generally an outlaw or bounty hunter depending on the timeframe and verse. sly, deceptive, ruthless motherfucker.
Dutch van der Linde; he/him; cis-presenting + bisexual; heavily headcanon-based.
Arthur Morgan; he/him; cis man + bisexual; set during canon events by default, postcanon AUs can be plotted
John Marston; he/they/it; cis man + bisexual (closeted); RDR2 and RDR1 verses available, though post-RDR2 John is my favourite.
Hosea Matthews; he/him; cis man + bisexual
Annabelle; she/her; lesbian (closeted); essentially an OC, Dutch's former partner who was killed by Colm and his men. HEAVILY headcanon based.

Private Muses

These are older muses that I probably had blogs for before, but no longer. They're open to anyone, but my muse for them may be finicky.
As a note, if we're friends and you KNOW I have a muse that isn't listed here (especially if we used to write them together on other blogs, etc) feel free to request 'em!

BLACK SAILSI will be very selective about any Black Sails muses I engage with. I will not write with John Silver (with the exception of my own) or Miranda Barlow/Hamilton (with the exception of ohsunshine); it's nothing to do with the characters themselves, it's just that my late partner wrote them. So. You know.As a note the Black Sails timeline spans through the late 1600s and early 1700s, and things like sexual orientation weren't necessarily understood in the same way that we would understand them today. I'm not interested in depictions of either Flint or Anne Bonny as bisexual; I think the show does a pretty good job of showing us why Miranda and Rackham are the exception that make the rule, and not indicative of genuine attraction to the opposite sex.James Flint; he/him; cisgender man + attracted to men, occasionally has complex feelings towards women, usually in the context of a polyamorous relationship with another man; influences from Treasure Island and personal headcanons.
John Silver; he/him; cisgender man + bisexual; heavily influenced by Treasure Island and personal headcanons. written with DID.
Thomas Hamilton; he/him; cisgender man + homosexual + polyamorous; show and headcanon based
Oisín MacCaig; he/they; nonbinary man + bisexual/grey-aromantic; original character. weird hozier-lookin motherfucker who lives in the woods with a bunch of pigs somewhere inland, near Miranda's place.
OUR FLAG MEANS DEATHEdward Teach/Blackbeard; he/she/they; presents as a cis man, is likely transfeminine+nonbinary; attracted to men.JOHANNES CABAL THE NECROMANCERJohannes Cabal; he/him; cis man + closeted bisexualASSORTED MARVEL MUSESFrank Castle; he/him; cis man + does NOT know he's bisexual, huge preference for women. canon-divergent i guess, i'm just here for dds2 and some of the punisher s1.
Mystique; any pronouns; nonbinary/xenogender + pansexual; extremely canon-divergent to the point she's basically my OC now sorry.
uhhhh definitely others should go here but ive forgotten everyone i've ever written so. good luck
